Camp Netimus Summer Camp for Girls Why Netimus
What Makes Netimus Unique?
The People - We are a diverse but inclusive community, and our programming encourages friendships not only between bunk-mates but also among all campers & staff members.
Our Method - Campers can plan their own schedules selecting from our diverse activity offerings. As a result, campers participate in activities that interest them and may concentrate in certain areas if they so desire. Our scheduling process differs from that of many camps that require campers to go to activities as a cabin group or which only allow campers to choose part of their schedule. We have an extensive optional trips program. Qualified campers may choose to go on trips as often as they wish. Trips range in length from one-half to four days and are led by competent, well-trained trip leaders.
Our Highly Qualified Staff - Our qualified staff ranges in age from 18 to 50. New staff members are recommended by camp "family", have gone through our application/interview hiring process, completed our Senior Leadership program (if they were previously campers at Netimus), and will participate in an intensive pre-camp orientation program. We hire staff with experience, knowledge and maturity.
The Caring Process - The entire Camp Netimus community (campers, counselors-in-training, cabin counselors, non-cabin staff members, support staff, and directors) is devoted to guiding and encouraging each camper to have a positive, fun, and safe experience at Netimus. Netimus is a place where your daughter can flourish. Our "caring process" is second to none.
